The Shepherd's Pursuit Special Project

In this African context, subsistence farming is essential to food security and nutrition. Whether it is a family who owns a few sheep and some chickens, many goats and cows, or a horse to pull a cart for hire, livestock are a part of just about everyone’s daily lives here.

We have the privilege to serve alongside a local church and an NGO to implement veterinary projects in our region as well as Gospel outreach. There are several villages, local churches, and ministries within a 30-60 minute drive that need veterinary help through mobile clinics, animal health training as well as livestock distributions and husbandry trainings. With your help, Dr. P and E are trusting that God will use veterinary medicine as a platform for the Gospel of Jesus Christ - meeting physical and spiritual needs. This special project helps to provide veterinary supplies, medications, and livestock/poultry purchases for veterinary medical needs and livestock distributions. It also helps to provide Gospel resources such as audio Bibles, physical Bibles, and other Biblical literature in national and local languages for outreach and discipleship.
