Who We Are

Dr. P and E, along with their two children, serve in Africa. The Lord captured P and E’s hearts with a desire to know Him and to make disciples while in undergraduate studies. As a married couple, they worked in campus ministry together for a year before P felt led by the Lord to pursue veterinary medicine and the Lord opened the door at Iowa State University. E continued to work full time in campus ministry while also completing a Master’s in Public Health – Global Health. In veterinary school, P was involved with the ISU CVF chapter and P and E completed several short-term trips through their campus ministry work and through a CVM apprenticeship in Africa. During those years, God continued to show them His heart and plan for every people group to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Before moving overseas at the end of 2023, P worked as a mixed animal practitioner in Wisconsin for 4 years. He has a passion for using veterinary medicine and animal health training as a doorway to provide tangible physical and spiritual need. E has worked as a stay-at-home mother. She has a passion for maternal/infant nutrition, hygiene education, and women’s ministry. Together they have a passion for seeing their labor flow through the local churches and ministries that are present and raising up Christ-centered disciples.

Our Work

P works as a veterinarian to help provide veterinary consultation and animal health training to nationals who rely on their livestock. E teaches English as a Second Language (ESL) once a week, helps with public health projects, and spends much time in the precious ministry of motherhood with their two children. Together, P and E help to facilitate evangelism and discipleship efforts alongside their team and their local national church. Their work provides tangible physical need, and doors have opened to be a part of the Good Shepherd pursuing those who are His and seeing disciples raised up and healthy, local churches formed.

“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’  Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.” – Luke 15:4-7

Our Partner

They work with a CVM family who has established a non-government organization that provides veterinary care, community health training, and English as a Second Language (ESL). This comes through partnership with a Christian agricultural training farm, a local church, and other local partners.
