Use your Passion for
Veterinary Medicine to Share
the Gospel Anywhere
Christian Veterinary Mission sends volunteers around the world to share Christ’s love by serving through veterinary medicine. We have opportunities in short-term missions as well as long-term service. If you are considering participating in missions, we encourage you to seek God’s leading, and connect with us.
Short-Term
Missions
CVM sends teams of veterinary professionals and students on short-term trips year-round to use their veterinary skills for God’s glory. Whether it is by performing spays and neuters, leading devotions with a team, or performing vaccinations, short-term volunteers are able to help others learn how to take care of their animals and share Christ’s love.
Mission Apprenticeships
CVM’s International Mission Apprenticeship Program  is a unique opportunity available to mission-minded veterinary students in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of veterinary school. The focus of this program is to provide students with one-on-one mentoring and hands-on training with CVM field workers as they seek to pursue God’s calling to serve long-term through veterinary missions.
Long-Term
Missions

CVM has been sending veterinary professionals and their families to serve long-term around the world since 1981. From rural community development to training among the nation’s most educated at university veterinary schools, CVM vets work to train others how to be better stewards of the animals God has given them and share the gospel of Christ.

Testimonials

Dr. Page Wages
"CVM changed my life as a student. Since that time I have continued to serve through CVM and have seen God work in some unbelievable ways! Not just in the mission field, but at home in my clinic. God will continue to use veterinarians to serve others through CVM. I am so grateful to be a part of it!"

Dr. Nick Duffield
“My time with CVM in Cherokee, NC and Mongolia was absolutely incredible! God has used CVM and these trips to give me a whole new perspective on what it means to be a veterinarian, one who doesn’t just diagnose and treat animal ailments but is also a counselor, friend, neighbor, and prayer warrior.”
