Wings - Wood
The writer of Isaiah paints us a picture in his statement “They shall mount up with wings as eagles.” It is the desire of WINGS to provide support to the veterinarians and students of veterinary medicine in Ghana to empower them to soar. Funds raised will enable us to provide technical equipment, continuing education, and technical support so that these young men and women can reach the pinnacle of the profession, and have an increased opportunity to spread the Gospel.
Both veterinary schools in Ghana have tremendous Christian Veterinary Fellowships. Their increased practical experience and resources will enable them to provide a greater service, thereby giving greater opportunity to witness not only to their clients, but to others within our profession. In addition, the increased competency of the veterinary schools will attract students and veterinarians from other countries, who will hear the Word of God and take it back to their homeland.
Specific Goals for Funds:
- Digital Radiography for the Veterinary School in Accra, Ghana
- Digital Radiography for the Veterinary School in Kumasi, Ghana
- Bring in veterinarians (especially specialists) from around the globe to the veterinary schools in Ghana to teach veterinary students and continuing education courses. This will help establish the veterinary schools as a center for learning, even for veterinary professionals seeking continuing education.
