Sarah Boles

My mission life started on a short-term team.  When I signed up to go encourage women like me on the other side of the world, I had no idea how God was directing my steps.

Since 2011 I have had a heart for cross-cultural ministry.  Not because I have a lot to offer, but because I have a lot to learn.  Especially about God’s global purpose for each of us and how we can partner with each other to see and learn more about God’s character and how we can glorify Him.

I have been leading and preparing short-term teams traveling to Kenya, Zambia, Malawi, Ghana, Cuba, Ethiopia, Ecuador, and Central Asia.  Teaching and encouraging others to see themselves not as experts but as learners when entering a new place has long-lasting effects on the team members and mission receivers as well.

I have been the Louisville, KY area coordinator for Perspectives on the World Christian Movement since 2016, currently am instructor for the Perspectives Course, serve in several volunteer roles in the Missions Ministry at my local church, Speaker at international and domestic conferences, and working on a Masters in Theology, U.S. Director of Hope Alive Initiatives.

“However, I consider my life worth nothing  to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me – the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”

Acts 20:24
