Emily Arndt, CVT
Raised in rural Wisconsin on her family’s dairy farm and in a legalistic pseudo-Christian cult, Emily was born again at age twenty-one. She served as a Long Term Field worker with CVM in Uganda for over five years working with semi-nomadic cattle keepers and teaching students at the country's only veterinary school. Returning to the US to work in her family-owned business, she remains flexible to continue with CVM in an associate role. Her passions are mental health, apologetics, and discipleship which she addresses through her writing, speaking, leading, and mentoring. She is engaged to Pete Chagnon who has a 23 year career in Christian radio. For fun they like to fish, camp, hike, snowshoe, and generally explore the world around them no matter the season.
