Dr. Vicki Hagerman
Vicki Hagerman, DVM, is a 1984 graduate of Purdue University. She worked in several practices in central Indiana, doing a mixture of small animal, equine, and enough food animal and exotics to have enough stories to write a book ( Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh,My!)
After 5 years she started her own practice in an old restaurant building about 5 miles from the farm where she grew up raising beef cattle and sheep, and of course ponies and horses. She married John, who came to work as the practice manager, and home-schooled (or clinic-schooled) their only child, Katy. Katy is all grown up and works for CVM and is a wife and mother to our precious grandson.
Dr. Vicki and John are now semi retired after selling the successful practice and work 1 or 2 days a week, ride their horses, volunteer at church, and chase their grandson. They have done one trip with CVM to Appalachia.
