Dr. Valerie McElliott
Dr. Valerie McElliott is a native of Dallas, Texas. She completed her DVM degree at Tuskegee University, with subsequent training in Anatomic Pathology at both Tuskegee University and the University of California, Davis, becoming boarded in 2013 and going on to complete a PhD in Prion diseases at the University of Georgia, Athens. Dr. McElliott has been married for 20 years, currently resides in Oklahoma, and she and her husband have a daughter and two cats. In her spare time, Dr. McElliott enjoys spending time with family and friends, engaging in outreach opportunities, and going camping.
