Dr. Sheri Randell
Dr. Sheri Randell, DVM, was born in Illinois and grew up in North Carolina. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated from North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. She is also a graduate of the Veterinary Management Institute. In 1990, Dr. Randell opened Carrboro Plaza Veterinary Clinic as a small, one-doctor practice in Carrboro Plaza. Over the years, she has remained committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care and enjoys all aspects of companion animal medicine. She is passionate about continually improving the care provided to beloved pets and supporting the families who entrust their animals to her. For many years, Dr. Randell has also served with Christian Veterinary Mission (CVM), traveling twice a year to the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota to provide veterinary care and serve the Lakota community. Through this ministry, she has had the opportunity to combine her veterinary skills with her desire to serve others and make a difference in the lives of both people and animals. Outside of veterinary medicine and ministry, Sheri enjoys hiking, reading, and traveling. She lives in Orange County with her husband, Guy, their two Labrador Retrievers, Jack and Elle, and their cat, Duckie.
