Dr. Sara Phipps
Sara Phipps graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She has been a part of CVM since a student where she participated in the student CVF group and went on her first short term mission trip. Sara practiced in NE Tennessee as an emergency vet before her and her husband Jason served long-term with CVM in Bolivia for 5 years. They returned to the USA in May of 2023. Sara currently works as an ER vet in Boone, NC. Sara has her masters in integrative medicine and practices integrative medicine once a week. The Phipps live in Newland NC in a tiny house that Jason built with their Bassett hound, Matilda and orange tabby, Steve. The Phipps’ have 6 grown children and 1 grandson.
