Dr. Kim Tanguay
Kim Tanguay is a small animal veterinarian who has struggled for the past twelve years with a strong calling to serve Christ and love on His people in the international setting. The path towards missions ended up being very different from what she perceived God’s calling would look like. God was guiding the entire journey however and she can now say she is grateful for the valleys that served as refining fires.
Kim and her family traveled a lot in the investigation of this calling. Their exploration led them to a long-term international assignment that was revoked after ten short months due to political unrest. The faith struggle that resulted from this forced return was long and hard and left her in a storm of emotion that could have led in many directions. Their family chose to keep God as their central focus however and the result was a faith that has learned to be at peace with God and rest quietly in His leading.
Their family is currently working toward returning to international service but this time they are seeking Him in a whole new way for the path ahead.
