Dr. Kathy Gagliardi

Dr. Kathy grew up in a Christian home and has been on her faith journey with Jesus her whole life with all sorts of amazing stories of how God has worked in her life but there is not enough room to write it all down. For now she will stick to her relationship with following Christ and the impact He has made in her life since vet school. Kathy started vet school in 2006 and joined the CVF club immediately. She graduated veterinary school from CSU in May 2010. She started out practicing at a mixed animal veterinary practice in a rural community in Southern Colorado where she would see both large and small animals and did mobile and in clinic appointments. She got to travel with her husband on a CVM trip to Sudan, Uganda, Kenya in 2011. After a short stent in southern Colorado, she and her husband moved back home to start a family in Boulder County where they grew up. They now have three daughters ages 6 months, 5 years, and 7 years. She has worked at four different private and corporate veterinary practices in the front range and is currently working for Erie Animal Hospital in Erie, Colorado. She loves working for a clinic in her own community. It has been a nice support system as a full time working mom and full time devoted wife. They have been married 17 years). She currently live in Erie, CO with one dog, one cat , three daughters, and my wonderful husband Josh. Dr. Gagliardi loves getting to do medical based acupuncture and working on variety of small animals. In her spare time she enjoy working with therapy dogs and service dogs in hospitals and nursing homes. Kathy loves Colorado and being able to enjoy outdoor activities in the mountains. She has a huge heart for veterinary mission work, and has been to Africa five times, Asia once. Central America twice and worked with the Navajo and Apache tribes in New Mexico and Arizona.
