Dr. John Christian
Dr. John Christian is a Professor Emeritus of Clinical Pathology at Purdue University. Growing up near Birmingham, AL, his DVM is from Auburn University (‘82). He worked in a mixed animal practice (TN) for several years before doing a residency and PhD (’92) in clinical pathology at Purdue. He continued as an active faculty member at Purdue from 1993-2023. Inducted into the “Purdue Book of Great Teachers” in 2018, his teaching/mentoring success has been based on simplifying difficult concepts in clinical pathology while also inspiring growth in character qualities that are essential to success in Veterinary Medicine … and life.
