Dr. Hillary and Michael Mincher
In November 2016, Christian Veterinary Mission sent Michael and Hillary Mincher to serve at the V.E.T. Net headquarters in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Before following God’s calling to Mongolia, Hillary, a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, practiced rural mixed animal medicine for six years. Michael completed his degree in Psychology and has continued his studies to earn a Masters in Divinity in Biblical Counseling.
Michael serves as a ministry advisor, discipleship trainer, counselor, and English teacher to students and V.E.T. Net team. Hillary serves as a large animal veterinary advisor for V.E.T. Net, assisting in training to the internship and continuing education programs for veterinarians and veterinary students. They serve as a family with their children, Michael Wayne and Hannah Ruth, in the countryside through various V.E.T. Net projects such as Claim A County summer school, Gift of Love, facilitating hands-on veterinary training, and by reconnecting with graduate interns. Through their efforts, the Mincher’s hope to continue building lasting relationships, share the Good News to those who have never heard, disciple believers, and encourage disciple-making to the ends of the earth.
CVM is partnered with Mongolia V.E.T. Net, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that focuses on sharing Christ with all of Mongolia through veterinary medicine and education. V.E.T. Net has diligently chosen to work through the entire nation county by county to reach the Mongolian people for Christ. Together, the Mincher’s work alongside other CVM families: the Mitchums, the Ballenger’s, the Day’s, and Lenore Thorne.
