Dr. Davis and MaryKay McGuirt
Davis is a 1990 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine who came to faith in Jesus 2 years after vet school. He and MaryKay met at his vet clinic in NC when she brought her dog in for puppy vaccines. He practiced for 4 years at a busy small animal clinic and then 14 years part-time while he was teaching and advising pre-vet students at Christian Universities for 23 years. MaryKay was a stay-at-home mom and then worked for 13 years as a church staff member. They have 4 grown children. Between the two of them they have been on 12 Short-term mission trips and are now in the final phase of deputation to serve as Long-term CVM missionaries in Uganda, Africa.
