Dr. Briana Blackwelder
Briana Blackwelder graduated from North Carolina State University in 2025. Before starting vet school, she worked for several years as a physical therapist assistant. She is founder of Equine Muscle Works (https://www.equinemuscleworks.com) in 2018, which embraces the manual work and the power of touch with animals (myofascial treatment modality on horses)! While in vet school and running her business, Briana was still very active at NC State as a student. She was an E-board officer of many clubs, student body government, and a weekly devotion meeting host. She also had the opportunity to be part of three short-term mission trips through CVM.
