
Dr. Bill Prevatt
Dr. Prevatt was born in Cookeville, TN April 21, 1956. He is the second son of a retired Army LtCol. He went to high school in West Springfield, VA. and then traveled all the way to Colorado to begin his trek through college. CSU provided him with a fabulous education; a BS in microbiology, an uncompleted Masters in microbiology (due to acceptance in the school of veterinary medicine), and a DVM degree. He was on the CSU swimming and diving team his freshman year as a springboard diver and then join the CSU Rugby team for four years. He is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, loves to water ski competitively, snow skis and is an avid golfer. His hobbies include remote control planes and cars and working on and racing full size cars. He is an elder at Calvary Chapel North Phoenix, was the youth pastor for several years and is the percussionist on the Calvary Chapel’s worship team. In veterinary medicine he was the chief surgeon at Animal Health Services of Cave Creek, AZ and specializes in minimally invasive techniques: arthroscopy, laparoscopy and thoracoscopy. Surgery is his passion. When asked why he is a veterinarian: "That is the path of ministry that Christ put before me." His Christian birthdate is May 1981.
