Dr. Alissa St. Blanc

Dr. Alissa St. Blanc is a native of Louisiana and is currently an assistant professor of small animal surgery at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated from the LSU SVM in 2016 and went on to complete two internships in Texas. She returned to LSU for a three-year surgery residency. She earned a master's degree and became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2022. She lives in Baton Rouge, LA with her husband of 10 years, who is an equine surgeon, and their four small children. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, exercising, and hiking, swimming or any outdoor activity! Her time in the CVF group as a student at LSU coupled with two mission trips to Haiti fueled a passion for combining faith and veterinary medicine. She now serves as the LSU CVF advisor.
