USA-Havasupai (Grand Canyon)

Are you a small animal DVM looking for a trip in the USA? We have been sent an urgent request to help find two DVMs who can travel to the Grand Canyon to provide veterinary care to the Havasupai Nation at the base of the canyon. This trip takes place next month (March)!

If you are interested in this last minute USA trip, this could be a perfect opportunity for you to grow your faith while engaging in veterinary work.

Space is extremely limited, so the trip leader will speak with each interested volunteer before enrolling. Click "Express Interest" if you are interested in serving!

Dates: End of March 2026 (exact dates will be updated in the next few days)

Trip Leader: Dr. Victoria Lowe with Veterinary Christian Foundation (VCF)

Vet Work: This veterinary clinic will focus on spaying dogs and cats, vaccinations, and de-wormings. The clinic will be held at the Havasupai Bible Church in Supai.

Number Needed: 2 Small Animal DVMs and one person who is gifted with sharing the Gospel in love and joy

Cost: $350 (includes helicopter/horse transport, lodging, and meals - does not include airfare to/from Phoenix or hotels along your journey getting there.)

Additional Info: Housing and meals are included in the $350 trip fee. Travel and hotel expenses en route are the participants' responsibility. This is your chance to step out in faith within the veterinary profession. The group will be small, cohesive, and organized. Veterinary Christian Foundation (VCF) has been providing veterinary services and God's word for over 42 years to the Havasupai. It's a beautiful place. Pictures are attached.

Join a Christian veterinary team as they serve the Havasupai people deep in the heart of the Grand Canyon. You'll fly in by helicopter, care for animals in one of the most remote communities in the U.S., and share the hope of Christ through veterinary service.
