Join Dr. Scott Poock and his University of Missouri team this summer on the Navajo Reservation! Help run animal health clinics and minister to the Navajo community in Sanders, AZ through building relationships via veterinary medicine and community outreach.
We are only enrolled DVMs and vet techs at this time. No other roles are currently open.
Dates: June 27 - July 4, 2026
Local Partner: Valley Baptist Church in Sanders, AZ. Dr. Scott Poock is the vet leader.
Vet Work: Set up and run large and small animal health clinics. Small animal will be done at church. Large animal on farms.
Ministry Work: Animal health clinics will build relationships for outreach for local partner. Participants should be ready to share testimony and pray with those they serve and work with.
Max Group Size: 20
Cost: $500 (not including costs to/from project site); CVM recommends but does not require purchasing emergency medical insurance for this location. You will be provided information on where to purchase it if you would like.
