Tanzania
Serve with us in Tanzania! You will be helping to support the amazing work being done by CVM field workers Dr. Lena and Patrick Wensel along with Meru Animal Welfare Organization (MAWO). DVMs, Vet Techs, and Vet Students are needed to support this outreach opportunity. Join this exciting and unique trip to grow your faith and engage in vet work that includes mostly large animal and possibly poultry. Building relationships and ministering to others is a strong focus.
This is our second trip to take part in this ministry, but we hope to continue offering this opportunity each year. To register or receive more information, click "Express Interest" to the right! Space is limited to five volunteers, so sign-up now!

Ministry Work:
Number Needed: Max 8 total (5 vets, 2-3 tech/students). Non-vets are allowed. Children are not allowed.
Cost: $1,850 (not including international airfare). This does NOT include an optional safari if you want to take part in that with the team. Additionally, you will need to purchase a visa before traveling ($50 for US citizens); Volunteers age 70+ will need to purchase their own insurance outside of CVM. For this reason, these volunteers will see a slight decrease in the CVM trip cost.
Additional Details: CVM long-term field workers Dr. Lena and Patrick Wensel will be hosting the team. Join us in supporting rural indigenous pastors and a local partner, Meru Animal Welfare Organization. Lodging will be in guesthouses/ lodge. There will be an opportunity for a safari, time around Arusha town and at an English/Swahili church. Please note that the cost above does not include a safari or international airfare. The actual ministry dates of the trip will be approximately June 1-10. Those wishing to do the safari with the team will do that June 11-14. The cost of the safari will be communicated once we know around how many people will be participating.
