Honduras

Join experienced trip leader Dr. Charles Cobb as he leads this team traveling to Danli, Honduras. The team's focus is on ministry outreach and rural clinics in the communities surrounding Danli that are served by the local church.

The team will be split into a large animal and a small animal team if size allows. Veterinary work is primarily vaccinations, parasite control and sterilization surgeries, dealing with cattle, horses, swine, goats, dogs, cats, rabbits, and poultry. Local translators and drivers partner with the team to support project and ministry efforts.

There is the potential to have non-vet family members and friends join this trip also and serve as helpers by preparing lunches, carrying supplies, cleaning, and sterilizing instruments, creating photo records, ministering to owners, etc. You also might partner with and mentor Honduran vet students.
