Dominican Republic
Join a team of eager Texas A&M vet students in the Dominican Republic this December! Working with SCORE International, this team will be going into the local nearby communities offering vet services such as deworming, dog vaccines, and some spays and neuters. Bring your expertise and desire to mentor students as well as to pray and share with community members in the DR!
We are mainly looking for Veterinarians to join this trip. You will spend time mentoring students and leading clinics.
Dates: December 14-21, 2026
Local Partner: SCORE International
Vet Work: Mostly small animal work (vaccinations, spay and neuters, and some treatment also) in nearby communities. DVMs with a desire to invest in students needed!
Ministry Work: Building relationships and praying with community members, along with some work with children.
Number Needed: 4-5 DVMs, 1-2 Vet Techs
Event Cost: $1,170 (airfare not included); Volunteers age 70+ will need to purchase their own insurance outside of CVM. For this reason, these volunteers will see a slight decrease in the CVM trip cost.
