Central Asia
Do you have a heart for Central Asia? We have a new opportunity to serve a people group in a closed area where people have little access to the Gospel.
We are looking for 1-2 DVMs who are serious about continued long-term engagement service in this location. Vet students may be able to come if they are interested in long-term service.
Read further for more information. To receive more specific details on this location, please click "Express Interest."
Dates: May 22-27, 2026
Vet Work: This trip will be visiting poultry dairy, and beef operations. Veterinary work will likely be limited on this trip as it is more of an assessment of needs. There is a possibility of providing care to a small herd of cattle at an orphanage.
Ministry Work: In the context of this location, open ministry is not possible. There may be opportunity for private sharing.
Number Needed: 1-2 DVMs (poultry and dairy cattle); Vet Students may be allowed if they are interested in long-term service.
Cost: $4,270 (includes international flights, may need to purchase a domestic flight to meet group)
Additional Information: For this trip, children and non-vets are not allowed. The request is for volunteers who would be interested in long-term service. Students are invited to participate as well, but they would request only applicants who are interested in long-term work in Central Asia. There would also be a possible opportunity to extend the trip while visiting another country from May 28-June 4. This would be an additional $500.
For more specific information, please click “Express Interest” or email Ryan Jeffers.
