Who We Are
Dr. Barry Schwenk became involved with Christian Veterinary Mission in 1995, while at Kansas State University. He was blessed to be part of a wonderful student group and participate in short-term missions through CVM. He continued to be involved with CVM in the US over the next 7 years while working as a mixed animal practitioner in Arizona and then a small animal emergency veterinarian in Indiana. Barry, Colette, and their three children served in rural Ethiopia as long-term international field staff for 6 years.
Our Work
After completing their time in Ethiopia, Barry and Colette returned to the United States where Barry first worked as the Christian Veterinary Mission Southwest Regional Representative. He was involved with student and professional ministries that support Christian professionals in their faith-walk and ministries.
