Who We Are
Dr. J. graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. He married H. in 2004 and together they have 2 children. Following graduation J. joined worked in a small animal practice and in 2013 the family began to feel they were being called to long-term missions. At the end of 2014, they began raising support to join CVM and were able to move to Mongolia in 2016. While there, Dr. J. primarily worked with the small animal clinic mentoring national veterinarians and developed training materials to be used by other vets around the city as well as in the countryside. H. and the kids primarily were focused on homeschooling, but were also involved in helping to teach English classes for students that V.E.T. Net worked with. In 2022, the family returned to the US, where Dr. J. has joined the CVM team stateside.
Our Work
Dr. J. is currently serving as CVM's Mission Deputy Director. He also will be providing coordination for CVM special projects and the Animal Impact Program, working with the Professional Development and Spiritual Wellness Department, and helping coordinate CVM Short Course & TOT.
