Dr. Coalson Lacey
Who I Am
Coalson is a 2007 graduate of Texas A&M's College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to serving long-term, he worked as a small animal veterinarian and completed a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry. After serving as a long-term fieldworker in Bolivia from 2013-2018, Coalson returned to the US where he is currently working full-time as a small animal veterinarian and serving as an Associate with CVM and continuing to support the work of his local partner, VetRed, in Bolivia and South America.
My Work
Dr. Coalson continues his partnership with VetRed - CVM's Latin American affiliate group. VetRed has been in Bolivia for many years and has an established campus ministry program at the vet school in Santa Cruz. VetRed desires to reach all individuals involved in veterinary medicine - from veterinary students to practicing veterinarians.
This partnership with VetRed helps Coalson fulfill two of his greatest passions: teaching veterinary medicine and discipling young believers. His goal is to share Christ’s love with veterinary professors, students, and practicing vets through hands-on experiences, providing continuing education opportunities, community outreach events, and discipleship opportunities through the local and national ministry of VetRed.
