Who We Are
Lauren graduated from Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. It was there that she became involved with Christian Veterinary Fellowship and got excited about short-term then long-term mission work. She practiced small animal medicine for four years before serving for three years in Bolivia with CVM in university ministry. There Lauren quickly went from being single to having a family of four, including her husband Jon, beautiful Bolivian daughter Angie, and their Bolivian Labrador, Ruby. Since returning to the U.S. they’ve added two sons, Isaiah and Paul, and a daughter, Aphia, to their family as well.
My Work
Lauren’s new family brought her back to Kentucky once again. From there she continues to serve with CVM as the Region Representative for the Mideast U.S. Traveling between four states, and a number of universities and conferences, she works with veterinarians, students, technicians, and donors to facilitate the sharing of God’s love through the veterinary profession.
She now also has the privilege of leading the Region Rep team as CVM's Workplace and Student Ministries Director.
