Dr. Scott & Janet Adams

Who We Are

Scott and Janet Adams live near Pullman, Washington where they raised 3 now-married sons. Scott is the founder and retired CEO of VMRD, Inc. They’ve been blessed with 8 grandchildren.

Both Janet and Scott are graduates of Washington State University: Janet earned a BA in Education and a BS in Psychology, and Scott graduated in 1972 with a DVM, practiced 3 years, and then earned a PHD in Veterinary Science in 1979. All throughout the 50 years or so of their marriage they've attended Bible churches, where they learned theology and were involved in teaching.

At a church family camp in September of 2023, Scott and Janet were called to serve during a teaching on unreached people groups. The next spring they went through CVM on a 2-month vision trip to Lesotho, where their son lives and serves with his wife and two children with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF). During and after their vision trip to the Butha Buthe district the Lord revealed many opportunities to Scott and Janet for ministry and service. They are now planning and preparing for long-term missions alongside the AIM Shepherd outreach team.

Our Work

Seconded to Africa Inland Mission (AIM) Scott will be using his professional skills as a veterinary diagnostician to better animal health. Janet will be assisting with the veterinary work. Additionally they are both hoping to teach church Sunday school and work with youth groups if possible. 

Our Partner

The Adamses will be partnering with AIM in Lesotho.
