About us: Our practice is owned and led by 1998 WSU grad Dr. Mark Hayden, who has eagerly strived to practice the highest level of medicine while humbly using “servant leadership.” Most of our DVM’s have been with us for over 10 years. The longevity of support staff also mirrors this and includes 5 licensed technicians. Our leadership team works to assess the practice culture and support the emotional health of the team, as well as encouraging feedback and new ideas. We are constantly seeking to improve our work environment.

About this position: We are seeking a Small or Mixed animal Veterinarian who will focus on small animal medicine and surgery.  Large animal work is optional; most of our large animal work focuses on equine wellness and dentistry but includes agricultural animals as well.  For a Full-time applicant, after-hours duty is one out of 8 weekends, and one out of 8 weeknights; an on-call nurse is always scheduled simultaneously. The after-hours work results in significant additional compensation. We rotate Fridays off between Full time DVM’s, allowing for one to two 3-day weekends each month. We are open to creative scheduling as well.

Our Location: If you don’t already know about Ellensburg, it is a college town located in Central Washington, next to the Cascade Mountains. Seattle is a day trip, and some people commute to work there. We are an agricultural community, and equine activities abound, with the Ellensburg rodeo being one of the top 10 in the USA. Recreation is all around us in our backyard. Most importantly, this is a family-friendly place, and our practice reflects that character.
