Practice Description/Externship Responsibilities: Our location is about 50 miles east of Texas A&M University, and 45 miles north of Houston. We are a 3 1/2 doctor practice, 75% small animal, 23% equine, and 2% food animal and exotics.   Dr. Steve holds a MS in equine reproduction performing embryo transfers, inseminations, etc. We accept house calls for both small and large animals, virtual emergency consults after hours, and urgent care and emergency cases during the day.  We utilize a 25+ highly skilled team, including LVTs and CVAs.  VHNW is a training facility mentoring veterinary, pre-vet, LVT, and CVA students. We are a strong technician driven diagnostic hospital that works closely with a boarded radiologist and surgeon that come regularly.  Heavy load of both general and advanced surgical and dental cases available. 

Externship Details: Housing studio unit for 2 is available within minutes from the hospital.  Compensation is based off experience level.

Faith Integration: We incorporate our faith into the practice in every way we can.  This includes praying for clients and staff and weekly bible studies. We mentor and exemplify Christ like actions in all we do.
