Position: Associate Veterinarian

Salary: $150,000 to $170,000

Website: https://circleb.vet/

This is a general practice role with a strong mix of wellness, sick visits, urgent care, surgery, and dentistry. You will be able to work cases up thoroughly using advanced diagnostics (Imagyst, Ligasure, endoscopy, and more) and practice medicine the way you were trained, without feeling rushed or limited. You will have autonomy in case management and clinical decision-making, with a strong, experienced team available for collaboration or additional support when needed. We have invested heavily in advanced in-house diagnostics and equipment typically seen in referral settings. The goal is to support faster answers, more complete workups, and high-quality care in-house when appropriate, while maintaining strong referral relationships when specialty care is the best option for the patient.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing comprehensive exams and developing diagnostic and treatment plans
  • Managing medical and urgent care cases from workup through resolution
  • Communicating clearly and building trust with clients
  • Performing routine soft tissue surgery and dentistry independently
  • Utilizing advanced diagnostics (ultrasound, in-house lab, etc.) to support case workups
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records
  • Collaborating with a highly trained support team (3 technicians per doctor)

Key skills and abilities:

  • Strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making
  • Confidence in surgery and dentistry
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload, including same-day sick appointments
  • Efficient but thorough case management approach
  • Strong communication skills with clients and team members

At Circle B Veterinary Hospital, faith is incorporated through the way we serve others, support our team, and care for our community. As a family-owned and operated veterinary hospital, we believe veterinary medicine is more than a profession — it is an opportunity to positively impact pets, families, and the community we serve. Our culture is built around our core values:

  • Be Accountable- We take ownership of our actions, our patient care, and our communication. Accountability means following through, being dependable, and holding ourselves to the highest standard — even when no one is watching.
  • Stay Curious- We are committed to learning, growing, and seeking better ways to serve our patients and clients. Curiosity drives us to ask questions, deepen our skills, and stay current with medical knowledge.
  • Practice Effective Communication- We communicate clearly, respectfully, and proactively — with clients, teammates, and veterinarians. Good communication helps us prevent mistakes, support each other, and build stronger relationships with the families who trust us.
  • There Is No “I” in Team- We work together, support each other, and step in wherever help is needed. Team success means each person brings their strengths while lifting others up, creating a dependable and positive work environment.
  • Choose Kindness- Kindness is at the heart of everything we do — with pets, clients, and one another. We show empathy, patience, and compassion, even on challenging days.

Faith is not imposed on employees, clients, or patients. Rather, it is reflected in how we lead, serve, and give back to the community. Circle B Veterinary Hospital proudly supports local faith communities, including Epiphany Catholic Church, as well as charitable initiatives through donations to Katy Christian Ministries, sponsorships, and community involvement. We annually sponsor several local schools by donating student T-shirts, folders, and educational materials to support children and families in our area. We are also proud Platinum Sponsors of Graeme’s Run each year, helping support pediatric heart research and awareness. For an associate veterinarian, this means joining a team that values purpose-driven medicine, strong collaboration, community involvement, and genuine care for one another. We strive to create an environment where team members feel encouraged, respected, supported, and fulfilled both professionally and personally.
