Good Shepherd Veterinary Hospital (GSVH) is excited to offer externship opportunities to interested 3rd- and 4th-year veterinary students. Come learn alongside our exceptional team of veterinary healthcare professionals! Located in beautiful Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, GSVH is home to a close-knit team of veterinarians and support staff. Our new, state-of-the-art hospital is just minutes away from Broken Arrow’s budding Rose District, and its proximity to the Broken Arrow Expressway makes it easily accessible to nearby communities such as Tulsa, Bixby, Jenks, and Coweta. Good Shepherd Veterinary Hospital is privately owned and operated, and is one of the fastest growing hospitals in the Tulsa metro.

Proudly serving Broken Arrow and the surrounding community, Good Shepherd Veterinary Hospital is a full-service small animal hospital whose mission is to provide the highest standard of care for pets. Good Shepherd offers medical, surgical, dental, and wellness veterinary care. With an in-house pharmacy, lab, digital x-ray technology, ultrasound, boarding facilities, on-site grooming and access to specialists, we are equipped to meet the needs of our pet owners and patients. We are committed to offering cutting-edge veterinary medical technology and treatment options in a caring and compassionate environment. At GSVH we believe in taking great care of our staff. Our benefit package for staff members includes health insurance, dental insurance, a matching retirement plan, continuing education allowance, organizational membership dues, all necessary licensing, liability insurance, and paid time off. Our hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are closed for all major holidays including New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
