Our practice is located in Smithfield North Carolina; we are looking for an externship with the possibility to add an Associate DVM to our team (full time or part time) who is willing to be mentored and become an asset to our practice.

Externship Responsibilities:

• Examine and treat animals with appointments and walk-ins
• Develop positive relationships with both clients and patients through excellent communication and record keeping
• Educate clients on vaccinations, heart worm tests and treatments, flea and tick treatments and all other aspects of preventative veterinary care
• Perform and assist with surgical procedures.
