As a thriving small animal practice with five veterinarians and a wonderful, highly skilled team, we strive to deliver quality medicine and exceptional customer service. We are deeply invested in the future of veterinary medicine, which is why we offer a robust, hands-on externship program to help students confidently transition into their careers and become outstanding role models in patient care.
Here are some highlights of our extern program:
- Diverse case load with canine and feline patients
- Hands-on experience with managing cases, surgeries, dentistry and surgical laser (wet lab experience)
- 1st to 4th year veterinary students are welcome – credit or non-credit
- 1- or 2-week blocks to choose from
- $110/night housing reimbursement
- Up to $400 travel reimbursement
