Position: Veterinary Technician

Aroostook County, Maine is receiving its first ever small animal emergency hospital! Aroostook Animal Emergency Services is looking for experienced technicians to help launch this new adventure. License or certification is helpful but not needed. Experience with surgical monitoring, in-house lab work, phlebotomy, triage and exotics handling is ideal. Must have excellent work ethic, team mentality, and integrity. Shifts are 4PM to midnight, midnight to 8 AM, and 8AM to 4PM to cover Thursday PM though Monday AM initially. This business is not only to offer emergency services to a county larger than CT and RI combined that does not have any yet. But it is also to let people know that they are cared for as well. It was spoken over my husband and I over 2 years ago that we would start a veterinary practice in our town and the time has come to bring that spoken word of God to fruition. The schedule of the practice is 8-hour shifts so that people can go to at least one service each Sunday as there are a few churches in our area including ours that still have both morning and evening services. We plan on tithing from the business gross income and providing resources, both finances and information, for local Christian organizations to help people who may need it that walk through our doors.
