This business is being started partly because there is no emergency animal care besides a few vets doing on-call in a county the size of CT and RI together. The other main reason is because it was spoken over my husband and I at a tent meeting service a few years ago that we would open a veterinary practice in our town. The time has come to bring that spoken word of God into fruition. The schedule of the practice is 8-hour shifts so that people can go to at least one service each Sunday as there are a few churches in our area including ours that still have both morning and evening services. I plan on having resources for some of the local Christian organizations and possibly even churches available for people. We will be providing tithes from the business’ gross income and plan on donating to local organizations as well. I will be making every effort for people to understand that we are not just there for the animals, but there for them as well.
