Job Description:
St. Francis Pet Hospital has two central Indiana locations and has been serving the community for over 30 years. With a broad spectrum of clientele, our facilities provide veterinary students with the experience, exposure, knowledge, and understanding needed to meet diverse client expectations and handle a wide variety of cases.
We practice Common Sense Veterinary Medicine—focusing on practical, compassionate care, clear communication, and realistic treatment plans that prioritize both the pet’s well-being and the owner’s goals and resources. Emphasis on K9 & feline care, but we do see some exotics. The externship experience is tailored to each student’s interests, and surgical experience can be accommodated with advance notice. Externships are available for 2–4 weeks, and complimentary housing is provided if available during the requested dates.

As a Christian-owned practice, it is our mission is to help people see the love and majesty of their Creator by helping them experience the miracle and unconditional love of their pet to the fullest extent and the longest time. We do not push our faith on anyone, but we encourage the Christian members of our team to live their faith openly and without shame.
