Associate Veterinarian, Full-Time, Part-Time or Ownership
Position: Associate Veterinarian

We are a family oriented small animal exotics (5%) practice in a progressive rural area. This position includes wellness exams, preventative care, medical diagnosis and treatment and surgery. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, caring toward our staff, clients and patients, and the ability to work well with others toward a common goal.
We have Morning Prayer 2-3 times per week. Our staff is invited to pray with clients and for pets. There is also an opportunity to join a canine and mini horse therapy ministry with the practice owner.

Our hospital provides a wide range of services including preventative medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, wellness care, and the treatment of select exotic species. Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Any level of experience, mentor ship may be available for new or recent grads
Responsibilities
- Perform physical examinations on animals to diagnose health problems
- Prescribe medication, administer treatments, and perform surgeries as needed
- Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and treatment plans
- Conduct laboratory tests to assist in diagnosis
- Maintain detailed records of patient care and treatment plans
- Collaborate with other veterinary professionals to ensure comprehensive care for pets
Skills
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology and procedures Knowledge of canine and feline anatomy and physiology
- Strong pet care skills including low-stress handling techniques
- Experience with laboratory procedures and diagnostic tools
- Ability to perform common general practice surgeries using aseptic techniques
- Knowledge in exotics care is a plus
Pay
Base salary+ Profit Sharing Bonus
