Wildwood Animal Clinic was founded under a different name 40 years ago. It originally started as a mixed animal practice and eventually became a small-animal-only veterinary clinic. The sole veterinary hospital in Dade County, Georgia, it has been a trusted hometown clinic for many years. Recently, the previous owner consolidated into another clinic elsewhere. This left Dade County without an animal hospital. So, a few veterinarians and some skilled staff have teamed together to re-open this beloved veterinary facility under the name of Wildwood Animal Clinic. We prayerfully seek the right veterinarian to join our team in bringing quality, relational veterinary care back to beautiful Dade County, Georgia.

With breathtaking Lookout Mountain to the East and gorgeous Sand Mountain to the West Wildwood Georgia is a great place to live, work and play. World-class bouldering and rock-climbing, spectacular caves, premier hang-gliding, rich farmlands and refreshing hiking trails are all waiting on an outdoor enthusiast or someone who just enjoys a slower pace of life. And for the best of both worlds, the Tennessee Aquarium, big city parks, Chattanooga Zoo and other amenities of the unique city of Chattanooga Tennessee are just 15-20 minutes away.

Our owner is interested in mentoring a young veterinarian but welcomes a veterinarian with any level of experience. Iron sharpens iron! We practice general medicine and surgery for cats and dogs. We have the general equipment such as ultrasound, anesthesia monitoring, digital radiographs, in-house Heska lab, etc. and we intentionally invest in relationships and education, which leads to excellent veterinary care.
