Job Description:
Externs are welcome at Tampa Veterinary Hospital. We have you shadow a doctor. You learn about the hospital flow, take histories, examine pets with the mentor Doctor, work to develop treatment plans, and work on the individual cases. You shadow in surgery and dental being a part of the procedures. We have you learning how to do the EMR SOAP's, practice charting, and ordering diagnostic tests.

We are interested in finding out what you are looking for in your externship. For example, sometimes our externs choose to focus more on medicine and others more on surgery. We are open to collaborating with you, pending the cases we are blessed to get in.

Position is paid. Housing not available.

I am blessed to be a Christian and pray to the Lord daily seeking guidance in both my personal and professional life. I am serving the Lord daily by taking care of his people and pets through veterinary medicine.
