Practice Description/Externship Responsibilities:
We are a three doctor, three facility small animal clinic in rural South East Arkansas. We have a wealth of experience for young doctors to draw on with varied interests among the doctors. We offer TTAs, advanced plating as well as ex-fix ability. We also do reproductive work (including in house progesterone capability and TCI), abdominal ultrasound, surgical dentistry, laser therapy as well as intense medical management of complex cases.

How do you integrate your faith in the workplace environment? Do you have a strategy for ministry within your practice?
As practice owners, we try to incorporate our faith into our business in every way that we can. We pray for our clients, staff, how we handle money, hire associates and so much more. We offer Christian studies to our staff as well as other reading materials. We encourage a culture where we love each other and build each other up discouraging negativity and gossip. We do weekly devotionals by sharing personal accounts of how Christ has changed us as well as sharing His word.

Other requirements/requests:
Our goal in hosting externships goes beyond the typical veterinary experience. We would love to play a small (or large) part in introducing young doctors to experiencing God in their careers.

This is a paid externship and will provide housing (two-bedroom apartment) as of mid-summer 2022!
