Dr. Kit's Reflection

Taking time to reflect on the past 38 years, I have had one word that comes to mind: Faithfulness.

God has been faithful. “Your love, LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies” (Psalms 36:5). Countless times when doubts and questions would come, He would show Himself faithful.

His faithfulness is the place we can then anchor our own hearts to be faithful to His leading and calling. As I think of faithfulness, I also think of seeing so many brothers and sisters in Christ who modeled that same faithfulness to the Lord and His kingdom work through CVM.

So many have faithfully prayed, given sacrificially, served in joy and passion, and faithfully represented our Lord to the work through the profession of veterinary medicine.

As I move into a time of transition, I am blessed in His faithfulness to answer the prayers of many in the search for the next Chief Executive Officer for CVM. Dr. Lee Myers has been one of those faithful servants.

She and her husband Dr. Billy Myers have served in many roles in CVM and now Dr. Lee is responding to His calling with that same purposed faithfulness.

Lord, I pray for your faithfulness to be a foundation upon which Dr. Lee and the CVM family continue to respond to your work through the profession. May we be faithful to proclaim your faithfulness to those who do not know you. May we be faithful to your promptings each day so that others might know and see your great love and faithfulness. We praise you for your faithfulness! Amen!
