Somewhere right now, people are living without knowing Jesus Christ. Communities in unreached places have never encountered His transforming love, and they have no one who will come, no one who understands, no one who will risk entering their world.

Somewhere, a veterinarian is being invited to walk into that community and be the witness to the redemptive power of God, shared through veterinary medicine and delivered by hands that seek to bring healing and peace. Hands that carry a faith that refuses to be silent. That is the CVM value; it is what we exist for.

For fifty years, we have done one thing: we equip veterinary professionals to answer this call. We open the pathways, provide training, support the networks and partnerships, and offer unwavering support so that professionals like you can live at the crossroads of their calling and your faith. We send them, stand with them, and make it possible for healing hands to become witnesses to Christ.

The mission and passion began with one man who understood something radical: that a veterinarian’s scalpel could become an instrument of the gospel!

Fifty years ago, one man answered a question about value, weight, and invitation. That "yes" became Christian Veterinary Mission, a pathway for thousands of veterinarians to live out the fullness of their calling. That invitation is now placed in our hands to pray, support, and carry His story worldwide.
