Thank You Kit & Jan Flowers
Dear Friends,

God calls us to be transformed. Our calling to receive salvation through His son Jesus Christ and to be transformed through the work of His Spirit, happens in the day to day walk of our faith journey.

“There, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, hold and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship.  Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is, His good, pleasing, and perfect will.” Romans 12:1-2.

I am wrapping up my formal service with Christian Veterinary Mission on June 30, 2022. What a privilege it has been to be a part of God’s transforming work through CVM since 1985! He has transformed me and continues to work on my transformation. I have had the amazing blessing of seeing His kingdom work in and through the lives of so many faithful and dedicated servants of Christ through the profession of veterinary medicine. Our Lord has opened doors for effective service here at home, and around the world. We have had witness to His transforming work in the lives of so many whom we have been blessed to serve. I thank you for being a pat of this kingdom work.
Dr. Kit & Jan, daughters Molly & Melissa, Kenya 1985

I still remember the privilege to serve as a long-term field staff member with the Maasai people in Kenya. That opportunity for service transformed my spiritual journey with God and that of my wife and our daughters. We were blessed to have so many pray for, encourage, and financially support us in that service. Others came and served as short-term volunteers. Together we were able to witness His Spirit draw men and women a saving relationship with Him.

My journey has allowed me to meet so many amazing believers in the CVM whose heart has been to offer themselves so faithfully into His kingdom work. Their lives are a witness to His love, grace, and care for those in our world with need and for those who do not know Him.

I thank each of you for being a part of the CVM family. I will continue to stand in prayer, encouragement, and financial part for His kingdom work, although not on full time staff. I want to encourage you to continue to join with me in His work here. We close our current fiscal year praising Him for what He has done over the last year and with great anticipation for what He will be doing next. I ask you to be faithful to pray, give, and serve with me!

Being Transformed.

P.S.
As we wrap the fiscal year, we ask that you prayerfully consider financial support for the ministry of CVM.  Dr. Reed Hall from Fairfax, Virginia, recently blessed CVM with a challenge gift of $100,000. May Dr. Hall’s generosity challenge each one of us to ask God how He wants us to plug into CVM – through our prayers, gifts and service – as we share the love of Christ through veterinary medicine.  Thank you for your faithful support.
