Uganda UGA20-06a Closed
June 1 - June 8
Use your vet and ministry skills in Uganda to conduct community visitations and veterinary preventative care. This short-term trip with CVM staff members Daniel and Rachel Graham will include visiting home-to-home in the local community of Soroti to provide consultation and basic preventative care for participants in the church’s outreach projects (turkey revolving loan recipients and sponsored children who have received livestock). Additional vet work is very basic and includes opportunities for rabies vaccination clinics and chicken vaccinations for Newcastle’s disease, and potentially SA spays and neuters.
Volunteers must be willing to work independently and conduct home visits in small groups with a translator.
Dates are flexible, June – July 2020.
