Mongolia – Claim a County Project Open
July 1, 2021 - July 30, 2021
An event every month that begins at 12:00 am on day 1 of the month, repeating until July 1, 2021
CVM needs volunteers with willing hearts and hands to join the Claim a County (CAC) Project in rural Mongolia. This trip is an amazing rural mission experience that is not available in most countries!
V.E.T. Net is committed to serving in different parts of the countryside by providing education teams to local communities. In the summer, the teams mobilize about 120 Mongolian Christians to go and serve in summer teaching programs with kids and their families.
This countryside work with Claim A County includes English teaching (curriculum is prepared), VBS with children, Bible studies, possible herder training or teaching children about zoonotic diseases. As you will be working with V.E.T. Net teachers, not veterinarians, please know there will be no direct hands-on work with animals.
Trips are 2 weeks minimum, but you can serve up to 87 days in country! Come as an individual or on a team. Once in country teams will be split by men or women and will be paired with Mongolian English-speakers. Also welcome to join a CAC trip: school teachers, business professionals, pastors/teachers– anyone with a heart to serve!
|Cost||$1360 (based on minimum of 14 days). Costs vary based on number of days in-country. Does not include airfare to and from Ulannbaatar.|
|Local Partner||V.E.T. Net teachers & the Claim A Country project.|
|Ministry Work||There is a strong ministry focus on this trip - you will be sharing the Gospel through building relationships with local children, teaching conversational English, playing games and providing friendship. Through this program, the love of God is displayed to students who most likely have never heard the good news of Jesus Christ!|
|Additional Information||Dates are flexible. CAC trips take place in June and July. Preparation and follow up trips are available in March, April, September, October, and November-- inquire if interested for more details on these types of trips.|
