Work with trip leader and HOI Board Member, Dr. Dan Lohnes, to perform large and small animal wellness checks, vaccinations, deworming, working on the ranch cattle, and spay and neuter clinics. Participants can choose to serve either one or both weeks, and will stay at HOI’s ranch, Rancho el Paraiso.
Also, one special opportunity for this trip only is to witness and participate in the dedicating of the Dr. Fred Ingle Dairy Facility during your visit. This is a fully modern dairy facility that began as a vision in 2014 with Dr. Dan Lohnes and is now coming to fruition! Don’t miss this time of joy and celebration with the HOI staff and community.
|Cost||$1150 – $1360 (does not include airfare from Tegucigalpa) $1,360 USD for two weeks; $1,150 USD for one week.|
|Vet Work||Veterinary outreach includes small and large animal wellness checks, vaccinations, deworming, working with the ranch cattle, and performing spay and neuters.|
|Ministry Work||Team members will be building relationships with local villagers and children through games and crafts as well as going on home visits to pray with families who have requested spiritual encouragement. Celebrate with HOI as they dedicate their now fully-functional dairy facility!|
|Number Needed||Minimum of 5 Vets needed. Vet students, vet techs, family members, and pre-vets welcome!|
