CVM is looking for 2-3 veterinarians to come participate in the first Latin America Vet Red Conference! Put your knowledge and teaching skills to use by providing lectures and practicums for veterinarians from all over Bolivia, and potentially Paraguay, Peru, and Brazil as well. After 3 days of lectures at UAGRM (the public university in Santa Cruz), participate in a rural outreach & clinic in the countryside 2 hours outside of Santa Cruz. Finish the week off with a spiritual retreat in Samaipata where there will be preaching, prayer, praise and worship, and a time of rest.
This is also a great opportunity for a small group of vet students (4-6) to come and participate in the activities alongside the Bolivian students. Additional opportunities for spouses and families of vets include working with a local mission that ministers to street families.
Participants will fly into VVI International Airport. If you would like to stay and site-see in this beautiful country afterward, trip leaders Dr. Sara and Jason Phipps would be happy to help arrange the travel!
