Dr. Barry Schwenk began his relationship with CVM as a student at Kansas State University in 1995. He was challenged in ways that have forever changed his life. After practicing in the U.S. for 7 years, he served with his wife, Colette, and three children (Emily, Jonas and Simon) as CVM long-term fieldworkers in Ethiopia for 6 years and as the CVM Southwest Region Representative for 4 years. Barry now serves part-time with CVM by coordinating eLearning modules geared towards veterinary professionals.
